ABOUT US

There is much to talk about when it comes to the Inca Culture, its inhabitants, its history, its characteristics, customs, traditions, beliefs, the geographical space in which it developed, its art and crafts made in the past and today.

Chulucanas Ceramic

We decided to open this space to share not only our passion for handicrafts but also for ancestral cultures in such a way that it allows our readers to learn more about the Inca Culture and ancestral cultures and the origin of their crafts, the way in which they are made, the different techniques used, the meaning on its forms, its iconography and aesthetic aspects that each of the creations contains.

This blog was created by Last Inca Depot as the place to go to discover the Inca Culture, to discover Peru’s art and handcrafts. We invite you to the authentic world of the ancient and modern handcrafting, to uncover the processes that take place in its elaboration, the history, the meaning and the modern utility of the handcrafts today.

We want to promote the work, skill and effort put in by each one of the artisans in the elaboration of their ceramics, textiles, woodwork, painting and jewelry.

We also want to let you know the story behind each craft, its origin, the way in which it has evolved and the way in which today it becomes, for those who love art, color and beauty, an aesthetic valuable work
